With the Galaxy S9 and S9+ having been out for about a month, attention turns to the Galaxy Note 9. With sales of the Galaxy S9 lower than expected, Samsung could be looking bring the release of the Galaxy Note 9 forward.
The device would originally have been expected for release around the fall time, but a new report claims that Samsung could launch the Note 9 as early as July or August.
While it was expected Samsung would use the next Note device to unveil the fingerprint sensor under the display, it appears the technology won’t be ready in time. The only other details that have leaked out so far is that the device will launch with Android 8.1 Oreo, have 6GB of RAM, and feature a 6.38-inch display.
It seems Samsung is very much adopting an ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mentality just like it did with the S9.
