T-Mobile is following in the footsteps of AT&T, who was the first to issue the Android Oreo update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Verizon and Sprint also released the update earlier this week, leaving T-Mobile as the only carrier yet to issue the update. T-Mobile has confirmed that the Note 8 will be getting Oreo today.
T-Mobile’s product manager Des Smith confirmed on Twitter that the carrier has begun the rollout of Android Oreo to Galaxy Note 8 devices and that it wasn’t an April Fool’s joke.

Once the rollout is complete, this will see all four major carriers having issued Oreo for the Note 8, leaving only the unlocked variants, which should land in a couple of weeks.
Your device should prompt you to update your firmware when an update is available. Alternatively, you can try manually checking for the update by heading into the Software Update section of the Settings app.
